I was impersonated in the December @coordinape circle at @banklessDAO. This compensation mechanism is in jeopardy of being lost completely if we don't find a way to make it Sybil-resistant. Hear my take in the BanklessDAO Weekly Rollup.

• tl;dr: elected banklessDAO official(s) rugged community by impersonating other members & allocating themselves $BANK (bDAO’s native token). this wasn’t a coordinape error or hack & 0xtomahawk has reiterated their love of coordinape as a funding mechanism (we agree), but a faulty governance process susceptible to sybil attacks. the DAO is already working on a fix.

has anyone fucked around with a @tallyxyz dao contract as the owner of a juicebox and it’s members are made up of the token(s) created from contributions to the @juiceboxETH project? either way, i’m about to try it for a very specific use case i have in mind.

• note: there is no “tally DAO contract”, ellie means DAOs using open zeppelin’s governor contract to enable governance on Tally (confused? we gotchu: checkout this doc on OZ’s governor)
