cabinDAO is building a city, the state of onchain DAOs, & Tally launches a fully decentralized voting platform
gm DAO talk fam,
the last week in the DAO world has been slow on the surface but that doesn’t mean things are slowing down behind the scenes. builders are building, contributors are contributing, & the future of work continues to make waves. this week we’re driving right to the point so you can continue building cool sh*t!

let’s dive in!
☻ Cabin DAO is building a city
remind me: Cabin DAO aka Creator Cabins began back in 2021 as a way to connect creators & remote workers in the Texas hillside as the world reopened post-pandemic. as the project has progressed the movement has grown to new heights. Cabin aims to build “a collection of remarkable coliving properties tied by a shared culture, community, economy, and governance.”
we love to see projects bridging online life to irl life. Cabin truly is paving the way for a better, more connected workforce & we can’t wait to see the positive change the collective instills and what new projects spring from the pioneers. (hey, you may even see one of your favorite DAO talk bois residing in Neighborhood Zero)
☻ DAO onchain or don’t DAO at all
we once said onchain is having a moment but at this point, the moment is over and onchain is here to stay. real DAOs operate onchain. full stop. let’s use the rails this web3 movement was built on, yeah?
every day it becomes easier and easier to launch, operate, and govern a DAO onchain. and the barrier is only going to get lower & lower. find some friends, come up with an idea, then execute. you can thank us later :)
☻ Tally zero goes live
Tally is putting their money where their mouth is.
remind me: Tally is a governance frontend enabling DAOs to launch, operate, and govern completely onchain. a super easy, clean, and fast experience for every DAO user (from novice to full DAO degen)
the problem: what happens if the frontend crashes? DAOs still need to vote, transfer funds, and operate so the Tally giga brains spun up a fully decentralized voting application via IPFS & thirdweb so DAOs can get sh*t done whether the servers are live or not. failsafe activated.
