shall we begin?
☻ Aribtrum DAO learns from its mistakes
Arbitrum DAO got off too a shaky start with the Arbitrum Foundation’s proposed AIP-1 meeting harsh criticism and ultimate rejection. the foundation regrouped and released a thread addressing transparency, budgetary concerns, & restrictions around the Foundations spending
Arbitrum DAO has been muddled by tremendous FUD over the past few weeks, but if you peek behind the incendiary doom & gloom tweets and look at how the DAO is operating behind the hood it is clear the future is bright and the ecosystem can learn from the folks who architected the DAO
☻ Other Internet takes on social security for DAO workers
look, we’re not going to try and explain it better than the gigabrains themselves, so:
“DAO contributors and operators, web3 creators, and decentralized service providers — face several organizational challenges. These include: unclear compensation (especially for social and care labor), contributor burnout, lack of clear frameworks for accountability and conflict resolution, implicit power asymmetries, uneven social discovery through social platforms, and a host of new tools whose affordances are not widely explored.”
Other Internet wants to fix this. for good.
how to get involved
Other Internet is conducting ethnographic research involving interviews, conversations, and ‘digital shadowing’ (a virtual type of job shadowing)

☻ Ethereum devs drop 50 on the haters in the 4th quarter
no one tell the bears but the transition from Ethereum’s PoW to PoS upgrade is complete & staked Ether is now withdrawable (s/o to the Shapella Upgrade)
but it turns out, no one wants to withdrawal :/ guess it was a bullish unlock after all
